Don't know the motor HP and assuming he has Papers.

You can find fiberglass boats for cheap. The concern is the motor.

Worth a look, but expect bad gel coat and small outboard.

There has to be a catch. I'd get my hands on it and test run it pronto. Pretty good deal if everything checks out!

Looks to be at least a 70hp from the size of the cover. Should move that 15 footer pretty good if the motor is in sound condition.

Try to get a compression test done if possible... also check for soft spots in the floors... probably the 2 most critical things...

My guess is that he will want you to wire the money to an escrow agent and then he will deliver the boat to a predetermined location. Then the escrow will release the money.

In other words, it is a scam.
