did you actually look at the drills? There is no doubt who is more talented, which is why ansah is going to be gone when we pick

Hell, just reading their strengths:

Combination of size, length, and foot speed is nearly unparalleled.

Mingo has played more then just a couple of years of football. I want Mingo or Jones.

I can say that Ansah is 30 pounds heavier and will be better against the run due to his size

He isn't playing DE. He will also have to cover. I don't think Ansah has ever covered, ever. Mingo PLayed Safety in high school, so at least he knows what a zone is.

He was also a LB in high school. Didn't play DE until LSU.

Mingo has to gain weight, Ansah is already at that weight and has shown he is still a freak athlete at it

I'm just saying there is nothing negative that can be said about Mingo that can't be said about Ansah, and Jordan.

But Mingo and Bust have become pseudonyms on this board.

I agree. I'm not sure why so many people put down on LSU player.

That being said, I think we'd be lucky to have either player at 15.

The guys grading them gave Mingo the higher grade. And you can pick out whatever you want to from strengths and weaknesses. It says Mingo has deceptive strength and Ansah has stamina issues. It says Ansah has size, strength and speed and Mingo has a lean frame.

BTW, Mingo's size is closer to guys like DeMarcus Ware, Cliff Avrill, Kamerion Wimbley and Bruce Irving than Ansah is.

If you don't like Mingo, that's fine. But to hate Mingo and tout Ansah is hypocritical. Ansah did shite in college and has as many, if not more, concerns than Mingo.

Mingo is actually pretty decent against the run, and on the outside will be very good.

The dude has played the best, and Ansah has barely played. If i had to choose who transition better i go with Mingo. I would rather have Mingo.

I would really rather have Jarvis Jones.

If he adds 20 pounds

6'4 260
6'3 260
6'4 255

Ansah 6'5 271
Mingo 6'4 241

Mingo was disappointing this season and hasn't really shown much growth. He could end up being great, but I just don't see it right now. He needs to add weight to his frame

Would live it, but I doubt he falls. 2nd defensive guy I want on team after star

Let Jacksonville reach for Ziggy early. Yeah he will probably be good... but so will the other 1000 34 LBs projected in the first 2 rounds.

Basically, if Star doesn't fall to us then I'd rather trade back. He is pretty much the only player I would feel %100 comfortable using the 15th pick on.

Bruce Irvin is 6' 3" 245 or he was at the combine.

Says you. Like I posted earlier, he's closer to the weight of some great pass rushers than Ziggy "can't play more than 3 plays in a row without needing oxygen" Ansah.

says everyone. i actually posted the weights of those pass rushers. He's 20 pounds away. Ansah is 10lbs heavier but also taller

He played at 230 last season, that is a 30lb difference

Pft Mingo could maybe last a whole game on pass rushing downs at that altitude.

Ansah would be benched having to play 100 defensive snaps a game on LSU defense.

Probably over if he is going to be huffing and puffing after 3 plays.

And he'd still manage more sacks than Mingo in all of those snaps.

What the hell did Ansah impress you with? His half a sack agains San Diego State or his two sacks against Utah State? Or was it his other sack and a half during the season?

I just can't see how you can hate one and not the other.
