I don't like many tees (yeah I'm weird). But that's sick.

Yeah, I really don't care much for team gear of any team.

But I thought this was a cool/fun shirt. I'll be happy with it even if Gattis completely flames out.

Uh yeah, Justin Upton's better than Prado, and it's not even close.

no doubt. that was the deal that got me pumped for this season. we got this guy at a ridiculous value.

the BJ deal on the other hand... as a Rays & Braves fan I was hoping we wouldn't end up being the ones to give him a fat contract. Ever since he went off in the '08 WS run his approach at the plate has gotten worse and worse, and his work ethic has been called out numerous times by Joe. I was hoping we'd re-sign Bourn over signing BJ. The knock on signing Bourn was age, but BJ is only a year and a half younger.

BJ still has a high ceiling and I really hope he proves me wrong

Without signing BJ, we probably don't get JUpton.

Yep got to take the good with the bad, but once BJ hits his stride, and McCann comes back....holy shite

Why are the two moves related? BJ was a FA signing and Justin was via trade. It's not like we needed to sway Justin to decide to come here via FA and we didn't have to convince him to sign an extension..

Sorry if a stupid question, I wasn't really paying attention to baseball in the winter

Regardless, this team is badass. Even if his OBP is below .300, I still expect him to add around 25 HRs to the bottom of the lineup.

BJ and Justin wanted to play together.

Justin Upton had used his no-trade clause to nix a recent deal to the Mariners, and his saga seemed to drag on forever. He was holding out for a brotherly reunion.

It could have happened, but I doubt it. BJ was the key to the trade.

cool. thanks for the link.

I think they'll feed off each other. Justin wants BJ to succeed just as much as BJ wants to (if I had to guess). I had a twin brother and growing up playing baseball together, it almost sucked more to see him strikeout or struggle than if I did.
