Drove by there a few minutes ago. Looks like they are still doing some work to it. I can see ladders through the window. Bunch of cars in the parking lot. Didn't know if it was open or those cars were for contractors/employees.

Near the interstate, before you get to airline.

Saw the same. Walked in and asked the girl at the door. She said they thought they would be open already, but could open at 4:00 today and if not they would be open tomorrow.

Wanted to walk around, but didn't look like they were wanting that.

Where all the Kleinpeter's lived. Between Perkins and the railroad track.

Really hard to miss.

Sorry, haven't been that stretch of Highland in
some time, but remember reading about the develop-
ment of a new store by the Alexanders. Thanks

can't wait for it to open, but like others have said, won't be today. They had 100 work cars in the parking lot this morning when I drove by.

Will be interested to see how much they hurt maxwells business, I go to maxwells a lot just to pick up quick stuff for dinner or beer. Really hoping that Alexanders has the whole foods type deli sandwiches, salad bar, meat market, beer / wine selection

Some of the pics I've seen show a cafe and sorbet/gelato

Still gotta go to Maxwells for the cookies at least.

They will shut down Maxwells and that nasty Albertsons. Probably be the end of Calandros also. The best AG store in Baton Rouge by a long shot. Can't wait

While I certainly hope they do well I doubt they'd shut down all of those places. I'd prefer them to make Albertson's just step their game up because I don't want another empty shopping center around the corner from my house.

Nah. Calandro's has withstood winn-dixie and albertson's and fresh market being near. Also, they are an AG grocer. I think they are safe.

At least I hope they are. That's my beer store.
