For many years Booze/Drugs were an enhancement. Now, not so much, and I listen to music much less.

I prefer to be loaded when I listen to my music. But I prefer to be loaded in most situations and environments. So there's that.

I listen to music as much now as I did in my partying days. And really the choice of music is not much different, then again I never listened to shite music.

I listen to music all day long at work. When I get home I put on some vinyl.

I get 'loaded' at the end of my day, so no I don't need to be.

although some music is better when loaded. Them guitar solos rattle the ear drum a tad bit more, etc..

that's what I thought of when I saw this thread. Every song on that album is gold.

Are you talking about concerts or just music in general?

Either way, I listened to a ton of music way before drugs or even alcohol were a thought.

ETA: Although substances certainly do enhance the experience

I wish they would still cover VU songs. Hopefully they don't have another zeppelin phase this year

Depends on the band. I really get bored as shite with Tool if I'm not on something to bend my brain.

They play Rock and Roll all the time. They also have played Sweet Jane and Oh Sweet Nuthin a few times in 3.0.
