Does anyone believe that Negan will be in the finally? Is it too soon?

I don't think we will see Negan this season. In the comics, Carl was shot in the eye and Rick and company visited the Hilltop before encountering Negan. My guess is the finale will be the walkers breaking into Alexandria and Carl getting his eye shot out.

Random question and sorry if already discussed but if zombie blood gets in your wound are you infected or is it only from a bite? Reason I ask is that I read that Negan keeps the Zombie blood/guts on Lucille to infect those he hits.
Two or three episodes ago when Sasha was going crazy stabbing the zombies she accidentally cut Abraham. Cameras did a close up and kind of a still shot on the cut. If the Lucille stuff is true, shouldn't Abraham be infected?

Everyone is already infected and will turn no matter what they die from unless the brain is destroyed. A bite leads to a quicker death due to all of the bad shite in the mouth of a decomposing walking corpse.

What do you guys think they're going to do with Darryl? Looks to me like they're making him into Dwight from the comics. As in, he will leave Alexandria and end up with Negan's group.

I can't see the group being okay with Daryl leaving. And I definitely can't see Daryl being on Negan's side and attacking Alexandria. He was ready to give his own life to save Carl, Rick, and Michonne from Joe and the Claimers.
Sasha is Andrea from the comics. They had a nice shot of the church tower she will snipe from very soon. Not sure if they will make her Rick's eventual love interest like Andrea in the comics. I can see them switching it up and have Rick/Michonne and Sasha/Morgan.
What's up with Carl's new love interest? She is sketchy as hell.

This would be awesome but there would be some serious backlash from the fans. Darryl and Rick are the 2 untouchable characters it seems.

I think they will avoid another zombie takeover this soon, especially as the finale. I think this would disinterest too many fans as we have basically already gone through this.
I envision Darryl and Rick parting ways (in a bad way) and Daryl joining up with another group who then tries to battle Rick. This would be an interesting direction for the show to go imo. Put the two most beloved characters up against each other. Fans would go nuts for this shite.

Anyone else think it is going to be Joe's gun that ends up putting a hole in Carl's eye? I think that girl took it and is going to smuggle it into the community.

since reading the comics I've watched the show with thoughts on which comic character is the tv character, and it's interesting to see how they make it work on both.
I don't think Sasha and Rick end up together, they have had virtually no connection throughout the series up to this point.
I wonder if we will see the conflict between Rick and Pete this season?

Absolutely. I think we get that, then Carl head shot to the finish the season. Although Rick and Michonne may hook up later on down the road, we might get a brief Morgan/ Michonne affair like in the comics.

4 episodes left for this season. We should see Rick/Pete faceoff. I think the Wolves that have been hinted at so far this half-season will be the scavengers that attack in the comics, which in turn draws the herd of walkers that leads to Carl getting his face blown off. With all the build-up about the Wolves though, we may just end the season on them and start next season with the herd attacking and Carl getting shot.

I think the fight with the scavengers will be where the season ends too. I feel like they want to have some time to develop the difficulties in the group assimilating into domesticated life again, and I'm not sure they can do that and have the conflict with Pete, leading to the scavengers, leading to the herd, leading to the hole in Carl's head.
but, then again, maybe they can?

I think they've already started the conflict with Pete. I bet something happens with that either next week or the week after. I think it could even happen while Glenn is out on his run that attracts the scavengers and could wrap up right as he gets back. That could lead us directly into the herd running into Alexandria and I bet that's where the season ends.
I think they'll spend at least one episode with Morgan.

Hopefully they don't follow the comics too strictly. Poor Morgan loses an arm when the herd attacks. Pretty shitty to travel all that way alone just to lose an arm as soon as you get there.
Considering these possibilities, these last 4 episodes should be intense.
