well barca basically won this tie, with 2 away goals

while true... but that last second goal was just killer... PSG would have needed to win in Barcelona by at least 2 goals to move on... now they just need to win... whether it be 1-0, 2-1 or what have you

not saying that's easy... but it's a lot easier for PSG than what they were looking at before that equalizer

Hell of an entertaining match. Plus with Messi potentially missing, you have to think PSG thinks they've got a real chance.

Did Clattenberg send anyone after taking cleats to the shin or allow a blatantly offsides winner to a team wrongly playing against 9 men? If not then he was probably higher than his usual standard.

He gave out two yellows for diving when neither player dove. He let Vidal get away with playing like he was on PCP for like 70 mins before giving him a yellow for a hand ball. Mandzukic got a yellow and I still don't know why. Chiellini kept hitting him in the face with nothing called.

It was wild and totally erratic officiating. High cleats to the shin was not a card but falling down after a hip check was.

This is why lesbos shouldn't be allowed to officiate men's professional soccer.

Clattenberg is fricking terrible. Mike Dean isn't much better. In all the Arsenal matches Dean has officiated, Arsenal have won only 7% of the time.

I've only seen the lichtsteiner yellow once, but I was nearly certain that Dante just barged in there with no plan on how to take the ball. Possibility that Lichty threw himself into Dante, but I doubt Clattz could've seen that at full speed, he had no idea what was going on. It was such an odd game bc Bayern didn't really get many fortunate calls, but Juve definitely got burned the hardest losin a couple players for next leg. Vidal deserved 4 or 5 yellows though so I don't consider that unlucky

Refs get too much spaten in Munich. I guess after forever it's Germany's turn to win one?

Dante came in with no idea how to challenge and pulled up and didn't challenge at all. He even raised his hands before contact to essentially give up. Lichty could and should have easily gone by him. That's probably why he got the card.

I thought bayerns press yesterday played havoc on juvis ability to possess , especially when it got deep. Three defenders were easy to cover and bayern controlled the midfield. How many out of bounds and takeaways did bayern cause on the juvi side of the field yesterday? Probably as many as I can ever recall in a game.
