City Park Fishing Rodeo

Anyone done this before or doing it this year? I just found out about it and thinking of giving it a shot. Gotta find my chaps first.

You made me want to do it this year. Bank fishing is my specialty and I use a uncommon lure that works best around a curvy lake.
Definitely bass comp & cichlid comp.

I've never caught a fish in City Park.
Granted, I haven't been there very many times, but it seems like fish there just aren't very interested in anything J shaped.

fished the heck out of the park.... back many moons ago..
Twice I finished 2nd only to be beaten by people that cheated - both admitted shortly after that they cheated..
one of the biggest bass to "win" the rodeo..came from tylertown MS....
fished it as a kid... where a van load of us would get dumped off.... can't tell you how many folks I know caught there first bass in city park... and saw their first things that cant be unseen
