Of LSU's 12 NFL draft players, who will be the biggest surprise and "bust"?

(in their NFL careers)
I will start it off with:
Ware - can do it all.
Montgomery - not ready for the day in, day out hard work needed to be an NFL star.

This will be a better thread after the draft.
Can't call someone a bust or a surprise until you see where they are drafted.

I will answer both by saying I believe Lavar Edwards will have a more productive NFL career than Sam Montgomery.

If I had to choose a bust, I would say Ware. He didn't seem to have great burst or vision.
Suprise - Faulk. I think he will have a long and productive career.

I agree with you, but we have a pretty good idea of where they are going to go.

I think Sam will be fine. He was always viewed as a high motor guy untill everything started coming out before the combine.
It just sounds like the team got in a funk last year. Perhaps is was a combo of 1/9, losing Tyrann, and all of the injuries.

I agree with Ware. He will be a steal for some team. He is the complete package at RB.

Kige on this. With that said...
Lonergan could be a starter one day, I think he is the biggest surprise in terms of success:draft position.
Montgomery will be the bust in my mind until he proves me wrong. Making all the wrong decisions up to this point.

I could see Lavar Edwards sticking. He's got great size and proved he's got the speed to play DE. He was productive in relatively limited time.

At the end of the regular season Montgomery was praised by about everyone on this board. Then, during the OFFSEASON he makes a stupid comment and now all of a sudden he's a bust? It amazes me how much stock people place in all the post-season nonsense.

lol yep, didn't see any of this on here during the season when he was winning SEC defensive player of the week awards. My surprise player is Ware, 6th or 7th round but will be a backup to somebody in no time. I'm thinking Ben Tate surprise. My bust would have to be Mingo until he can develop some technique but I'm basing this on high draft pick(1-2 round). I really don't see any true bust out of the 4 that will most likely go in the first two rounds, but I don't see amazing careers(right now) for any of them just yet.

To be fair you can't really do either of those things until after a few years in the NFL. But by all means dub them a bust at the end of April before their first camp.
And for my real contribution to the thread:
Bust - I don't really see one. At this point if Montgomery is getting drafted in the second then he won't be a bust, could really be a steal at that point.
Gem: Ware and I've been saying this all along. He does what every NFL team needs, runs hard, downhill and catches the football.

Don't forget he was easily the best pass blocking RB we had as well.

For all the dline LSU has sent to the league, not many have lived up to the hype -
Spears
Jackson
Dorsey
Wroten
Lavalais
None have had all pro careers outside of Kyle Williams

Surprise...Ford at RB with a 6th round pick Speed kills
Bust - Simon as a 3rd round pick...too inconsistent.
