I'm glad he gets to start, but man... anywhere but Oakland!

Or Arizona....

Cleveland would have been find as their offensive line is better they have a nice young RB in Richardson. Just need a couple more receivers

Pretty lucky guy actually.

Lived in Seattle and now San Francisco while making all this money.

I know the team sucks, but hopefully they can improve in year 2 (or 3?) without Al.

None of the other options are much better.

Speaking of injuries, Arizona is less likely to keep a healthy QB through a season. Cleveland would be the best place simply because they have young talented players.

I don't think Oakland is really all that bad, this could be them making the turn

They lost their best TE/Receiver....

He will be throwing to Denarious Moore, Derek Hagan, Rod Streater, and TE David Ausberry.... The offensive line ranked 30th out of 32 teams last year according to football focus an 29th according to football outsiders

It will be interesting to see how the Raiders offense shapes up this year. They are switching from a zone blocking scheme to a man, have a new o-line coach and offensive coordinatore, and will definitely address the o-line in the draft (maybe in first round now).

Plus their left tackle is pretty damn good.

shite.

My comment to every one of my friends in '07 was "We'll never know how good Jamarcus could have been."

Unfortunately, we may see the same fate with Matt Flynn.

This makes me incredibly sad. I despise the entire Raiders organization. I can't cheer against Matt but if he doesn't do well it won't be pretty. Their fans are the worse.

Only 2 things come to mind

1. Glad for you Flynn, hopefully you actually get your shot now
2. It's a shame it's with the QB killing Raiders. There's 2 teams aI never wish on a QB, Raiders and Browns

They don't have to overdraft at QB now, they can use it for other needs. Or trade down and fill a couple holes. Maybe he'll be throwing to tavon Austin.

Well until he gets injured because of the team around him

God, what a debbie downer you are!

He will start, be paid millions, and have the chance to make a name for himself playing the game he loves.

Any QB can be hurt on any play.

He's a smart guy. I'm sure he's perfectly capable of making sound career decisions irrespective of the opinions of the rant.

I'd rather be a backup somewhere than start for the Oakland Raiders. They always have the worst O-line.
