Do you know a person who thinks it's awesome to cook a steak or boil a crawfish at the shortest time possible? Example, how many of you bring your crawfish to a rolling boil, and then just shut it off. Newsflash, they aren't cooked and enjoy your runny crawfish.

"Hey guys I bought these awesome steaks at da wal marks. I'll cook them for a min or two flip and it's done. No bacteria here"

Well, if you want it rare then it probably really doesn't need much more than that.

How long did it take to get to that boil. FWIW, I've never had undercooked crawfish. In fact, I've never even heard of an occurrence.

I don't eat well done steaks, and I'm not a little bitch when it comes to raw meat. I like mine on the rare side of medium rare, and I've never had a single problem. Sounds like you really need some ketchup to go with your shitty, dry steak.

I'm really not sure what point you think was proven. Because I prefer my steaks cooked properly, you proved a point?

FWIW, I never said I cooked my steak the way you described, only that I prefer a specific temperature.

I'd love to hear your method, because clearly you think it's better than the method I never described.

I'm not sure what crawish and steak cook time have to do with one another.

It doesn't take long to cook a steak.

I usually just boil my steak.

Basically every steak thread has people in it that just rattle of the shortest possible cook times disregarding thickness or quality of meat, and then say something like enjoy your shitty steak with ketchup or whatever if you disagree.

Crawfish take at least 3 hrs at a rolling boil. Steak needs 30 min in the microwave.

Shot me an email and I'll send you my ketchup marinade.

You ever heard of "internal cooking temp" before? How hot is a pot of boiling water? How long does it take boiling water to cool down below 150 degrees? Still think a crawfish isn't cooked after soaking for ten-twenty minutes?
