So this link states the dollar is getting dumped. Read another article few days ago where another country was dumping to dollar. So how will this affect the dollar and is there another currency that would be safer to invest in?

Do you own a lot of dollars? Meaning, do you have lots just sitting in cash? If you don't you're fine regardless.

Personally I have real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. But these are not dollars, so I don't care much.

Zerohedge? LOL!

That website has never found a Chicken Little rumor it didn't embrace. It has been predicting the end of the U.S. ever since it started.

Nope.

It's probably so distorted from the facts it's a waste of time to read.

Most folks around here own a fair number of dollars.
And almost everyone here is paid in dollars. If the value of a dollar drops by 10%, you take a 10% pay cut.

Not exactly. If I give a guy $10 to cut my hair and he still accepts that then my buying power hasn't changed. It depends on what I'm buying with my money.

There are some macroeconomic principles you are forgetting there.
