As far as I know, he's from Lena, Louisiana and is a freshman at Northwood.
I've read he's aslo pretty tall, around 6'10".

Lena - about 10 miles north of Alexandria. 1A School. They're usually a middle of the pack team in 1A. Clifton Lee that played for NWST went there.

He's raw. Has a frame similar to Big Baby. Has decent post moves and will step out 12-15 with a nice stroke. My son's team played them last year and this year. He put a double-double up on us, but we really didn't have a big that could guard him. Our tallest player is 6'3". I could see a lot of improvement from his 8th grade to Freshman year.

as much as we hate those schools, got to think of the kids' development first. those places can coach elite talent better than the random daddy where these kids would have went

It stinks for Northwood-Lena to lose him, but I agree. If you are the parent of a 6-10 freshman who is capable of putting up double-doubles in high school ball, you are pretty much obligated to try and develop him. Not everyone who is tall can play basketball. Some tall people are really awkward and have trouble walking around without tripping. But, if the kid can play and wants to play, you have to think that if he can develop and even if he grows a bit more, he could play in the NBA - at the very least get a college scholarship. So, yeah, if a private academy can help the kid get there, I have no problem with it.
In the same way, I have no problem with what Calipari is doing at Kentucky as long as he stays within the rules. The goal of college is to be able to get a job. If he can help them do that, what is the problem?

He is not coming to us. Don't know why you all think that, but unless he's gonna sit out his sophomore year, I doubt it, but its on him. But he can't keep up with us, besides, the SF/PF we've got coming from the Junior High next year is better than he is now, he's going to start 4 years for us. We already have a roster of at least 17 with the 2 freshman coming in. So...don't expect it.
