Essentially, how the LSU fans showed up the hometown fans. (see quote in the op) And how their CF was from Lake Charles, and his family were all big LSU fans. Many of them came up to watch the game and were rooting for LSU, but he added, for him, too.

It's a fairly short piece. If you read this thread, then you have most of the relevant parts. Their coach was openly critical of his starting pitcher not being able to throw a curve, and LSU was just waiting for fastballs.
