Has Kobe ever shot above 48%?

ETA: season wise

Could pass Wilt if he could keep up his career average for another 4 seasons

I think each of Kobe, LeBron and Durant will break that record over the next 15 years. That's my bold prediction of the night.

He's one of the greats. I'd hate to see him go out following a few mediocre years. He deserves to go out on top.

No shite! He will probably come back and compare his shooting % with big men!

Kobe has been missing free throws at the end of games lately

Wow. Thats Demarcus Cousins in a nutshell...

Down 3 points. Throw up a 3 pointer with 20 secs on the clock and Dwight Howard in your face...get it blocked

Teammate bails you out with an offensive rebound...throw up another 3 pointer with 12 seconds left. Brick it.

SMH...

You have no idea how jealous I am that you get to watch so many Laker games. I went from having season tickets for 3 years and watching all road games on KCAL to watching maybe 10 games a year!

Kings just tanked the end of the game. Looked like they drew that play up with an option for DMC to take that 3. Lakers' announcers even said DMC's been practicing 3's but it hasn't translated to the game yet.

Honestly though, if a guard had gotten someone up in the air like DMC did, they probably call the foul there. Now I have no idea why he took the 2nd 3 pointer though after the rebound that one was just dumb.

LeBron has a legitimate chance at taking the record-- he needs about 18K points to approach Kareem. Kobe is probably not going to make it. Durant needs to score an additional Oscar Robertson's worth of career points to challenge Kareem.

Tall orders, all-- but LeBron's is the most workable.
