The last three games, I ran mid like you're supposed to with the L lady according to some meta that I don't even understand. The biggest adjustment is knowing when to get the hell out. The more I figured out her strike range, the more comfortable I got against champs. Letting the minions lead helped too. Overall, it was frustrating but fun. I will dump more time into it today.

In the early game (and even into the mid game), just farm and harass the enemy laner. Your main goal is to keep your farm up. It is your main source of gold.
More farm than the enemy laner = more gold than the enemy = You putting his arse to the street.

So first two matches done.
1-1
Our top Aatrox went 0-6 in the first twelve minutes....so yeah
Second game I had to ADC as Jinx..some how we won that one

I had to lane vs a renekton as maokai yesterday. It sucked.
Made a few decent teleport plays at least
Also made a terrible tp play, tping to a turret which died mid tp, while drewbie was mid gank
shoulda tpd to a minion for the free kill

Just ran Wukong - now running Jinx
I think so far I like ADC - but Top lane was fun, I just got really confused about halfway through the match and started running around too much and dying... I take it someone like Wukong is really strong against the minions, but not other champions?

Wukong is a pretty strong dualist and his ult is great in teamfights.

ok I hate hate hate jinx... or maybe I hate the guy that was suppose to be ADC with me, because I literally keep dying every 2 second.. this is horrible

Jinx has no escapes. Im not sure which of the adcs you can play but Caitlyn, Corki, Ezreal, Graves,Lucian and Tristana all have forms of escape

What about healing? I'm so confused about healing... I know the one ability that is only available like every 3 minutes, but what else? Is there something else I can do?

Um as Adc you should start with Dorans blade and a hp pot. I would get atleast 1 hp pot on each back you should definitely be taking the "Heal" summoner spell. Should be backing when you get low or get near a item buy price. Oh another thing only one pair of boots gives bonuses

I officially hate the group I was stuck with... they absolutely suck - the tanks "run away" the second there is even another champion around... so I'm butt raped by all the champions as an ADC the second they show up

yeah, there is not a lot of healing. managing your health is one of the key aspects of the game.
-summoner spell heal; only use it in fights
-healing potions, only really useful in laning phase/ beginning of the game.
-a select few champs can heal themselves and/or others. (Nami, Soraka, Alistar, Nidalee)
-late game Damage dealers can get lifesteal items. think Dorans blade but on steroids. 4% lifesteal with 70 AD isn't much. 15% lifesteal with 300 AD and 80% crit is a ton
ADCs are glass cannons. If your Chompers are down on Jinx and you miss your W, you are dead

focus on last hitting minions for gold/cs and building/buying items from the shop
