Don't think Elise will get nerfed. She is in a good spot. Ziggs is fine. Leona is fine.

There are so many champs that get dumpstered with the changes in the game.
It's not a coincidence that the LCS teams usually pick the same champs, game after game.
I had a great early game as a jax yesterday, went 7-1-3. Then, I kept making mistakes and getting caught out. Our team didn't do good in the vision game, and we didn't have as good of a team comp as them.
I can see how my mistakes cost us the game (and will learn from it), but sometimes, you can't overcome a lack of teamwork and chemistry in soloQ. I felt like I was the one keeping the team in the game, but I wasn't enough to outright win it. It just goes to show that you have to be that much better to pull your team to victory.

Norms.
I need to refine my skills on some more champs and roles before I'll be beneficial to a team.
I feel like I'm in the top half of the talent in most games that I play, but there's so much room for improvement that I don't want to play ranked until I feel ready.

Do any of you play a lot of mid?
I've played it maybe 5 times since I've started this game, and it's the next lane I want to get into.
I'm thinking of going with teemo and nidalee first since I'm already very familiar with them from other lanes. How viable is AP tristana mid these days?

They're all viable. Ap trist ults are scary. Nidalee and Teemo are safe picks. Teemos shrooms finally got nerfed (thank god).

I've started playing a lot of teemo lately, and while his shrooms were doing severe damage, I found them more useful as map control items and slows.
Playing in any lane as teemo made it nearly ungankable.
ETA: Not to mention, right before a big team fight, I'd lay down a shroom or two and kind of hover around them while auto attacking and popping my Q. If anyone dove me, instant slow and massive damage and I'd just kite them.

I'd rather have the skills to start a little farther along.
I don't have a ton of time to play game after game. So, I'm hoping this is a more enjoyable path.
Plus, I think even the challenger players have to grind to get all the way back.
Besides, as long as I don't play ranked... I don't have that label strapped to my back (whatever it may be).

The assassin mids were king in Season 3, and I still find some of them extremely difficult to lane against.
S4 has become more about wave clear and seiging. So, Nid would be a good role to work on first.
I've had the best success with mids that have CC options to control the lane and set the table for ganks.
I've done really well as Zyra and ok as Ori.
I haven't played Ahri much, but she was recently used to great effect in the LCS.

Hell I saw an Irelia main post on Reddit that he had to play 1700 games to get from Diamond to Challenger.

Haha I was just messing with you I used to be the same way when people said I was only ranked silver. Would always reply with well I don't really play ranked
