I'm looking to pick up a new game today. The last few that I've really enjoyed were RDR, Arkham City and AC3. Any recs for something along those lines?

Bioshock infinite

I'll be buying it today too

if you don't want to pay $60 and want a GTA-style sandbox type game... look at Saints Row the 3rd.

its like RDR... but... a total over the top parody. completely ridiculous but a ton of fun if you can find it for cheap... IMO

Dude played Witcher 2

I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE. I'm sorry I'm not sorry.

P.S. everything else he has mentioned though has been spot on.

I'm on PS3. I'm over FPS for the time being. May look into Bioshock, although I've never played any in the series.

Deus Ex Human Revolution is a blast and will keep you very entertained

Dark Souls is fun as shite

Haven't played yet, but Bioshock Infinite is widely regarded as a masterpiece and a work of art.

I just got the new Tomb Raider from Gamefly. I'm about an hour in and it is a blast. Can't wait to play later today

Dishonored is really fun and shouldn't be too expensive now.

Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is one of the best RPGs in years. Not sure it's on PS3 though

I second Deus Ex, Dark Souls, Bioshock Infinite, and Dishonored (although I haven't finished it yet).

Tomb Raider is great.

Skyrim if you want a great large scale RPG.

Bayonetta is an older, incredibly fun Devil May Cry-esque game you can get for very cheap.

Don't forget the Fallout series either.

Are you looking mainly for RPGs?

No shite large scale. I put about 10-15 hours in last week and it looks like 3/4 of the map is blacked out

Deus Ex

Love it

I've decided that eventually I will give this game ONE last chance. Haven't been able to get it in to yet after two tries

Witcher 2 feels like a great game but I just couldn't get into. I actually traded in my copy. Kind of wish I still had it to give it another go.
