Yeah, just mess with the multiplier (clock ratio) and vcore.

You need to pirate the Pro version of DisplayFusion

Tried a quick 5.0 and it was a no go but I didn't mess with the voltage.

Yeah, you won't get a 1GHz overclock without upping voltage from stock. We could skype or steam tonight and I could walk you through various voltage tweaks.

I am at 4.7 at 1.34V right now and just finished four hours of DA:I on ultra with no issues. I said in the weekend gaming thread I would not let you suck me into the OC vortex this weekend!

My nephew will be here in an hour so we can swap out his HD to my old computer and get it going.

Just to clarify, the 1.34V is your absolute lowest stable voltage for that speed, or did you just use my voltage?

Just used yours, I haven't messed with voltage otherwise.

Need some help here, I put my nephews HD in my old computer and I cannot get it to boot. I get the windows loading screen and then a blue screen of death quick flash then it reboots. I does the same thing when trying to boot in safe mode. The HD is good I just put it back in the other computer and it booted fine.

Don't do that. You need to take the time to find your lowest stable voltage.

My first guess is that your nephew's drives are configured in IDE mode and yours are AHCI as they should be.

In order to get his drive to boot on your motherboard, you'll need to go into your bios and change the hard drive configuration to IDE. You won't be able to boot your own drives until you change it back to AHCI.

Will do, I will mess with it later.

Beware that if you boot his hard drive with your motherboard, Windows is going to try to find and install device drivers for everything in your computer. Are you trying to wipe his drive, back it up, transfer to SSD?

Is there anything you don't know about computers. Worked perfect!

- I gave him my gaming computer about two years ago when I built my 7950 system
- I just built my new system
- he is getting my 7950 system and I am taking back the computer I gave him originally.

He is getting the whole 7950 system minus the SSD, PSU, and one of the 7950's. I put his HD in the 7950 system and that is where I was having issues.

I went on a 12 hour binge of Far Cry 3 a few days ago and beat it. Are there any similar games y'all would recommend? I enjoyed the FPS part of it. I've already played bioshock, got bored of skyrim fairly quickly and already own borderlands

**SPOILERS**

I'm happy, yet kinda sad that I didn't choose to go with Citra in the end. Watched that pr0n scene on youtube

Liza > Citra

Far Cry 4.

ETA: I haven't played it, but it sounds like more of the same (which is good, if you enjoyed FC3).

I plan on picking that up already

FC3 is the first sigle player game I've finished in a looonnggg time. Bioshocks story was great, but the gameplay didnt do it for me. Skyrim bored me to death. I'm getting into tomb raider right now, but third person games always annoy me

I liked FC3 a lot, and I'm in love with FC4. I feel like this world is more impressive in every way. Story is the same, fine, nothing great. But the environment and what makes a far cry game a far cry game, they nailed.

I can't get into fc3. I think ubisoft has tired me of climbing towers to unlock a region. I never want to unlock a tower, camp, etc... Again.

Has anyone ordered a card off of amazon? How long does it take for them to send you the game code?
