I only say that as an OCing enthusiast, but it really doesn't need to be delidded, IF you get something better than the stock cooler (and I know you will). I was helping TigerfaninHTown do some OCing on his Haswell, and we got him at a safe 4.1-4.2GHz using a hyper 212. Temps in AIDA/Prime were in the high 70s and probably would've jumped in the 80s under an even more unrealistic load, but those CPUs are built to do 90 all day long and throttle at 95.
And that's the 4770k with hyperthreading enabled. 4670k will probably run a few degrees cooler.
I'm just saying, don't expect to be swinging massive e-peen with a 4670k overclock. But at stock, there's still no other CPU with better core for core performance at that price point.

Nah...go get $30 for it, man. I have too many games as it is and I hate to cost you $10 more you could make off of it.

Nah...Not worried about that at all.
I just want to build a Steam box/HTPC to hook to my TV. Some days when I get home I feel like just playing some single player games with a controller while chilling in my recliner but sometimes it's more trouble than what it's worth to hook my PC up to my TV to do so.
It doesn't need to be strong. I am probably just going to use this 660 in it until I move my 7970 to it when I get one of the Hawaii cards coming out. I just need a CPU that won't bottleneck either of those cards.

I will MAYBE get a console one day but I it will take a price drop and an exclusive I REALLY want to play. I built a PC just to play DayZ initially so if it's something that peeks my interest I will spend the money but at this point neither console has that.

Ight. It's easy. Just log into Arma 2. Then type wasteland into the server search. Ill be on in about 3 hours and we can walk through it.

I can't just get a PS4 and a game. I have to get like three games, the camera, another controller at least, etc. I don't need all of that right now.

Well, that makes me want to play Wasteland but we might have to do it on Arma 3. I don't know if I have the Arma 2 installer downloaded right now or not and if I don't it takes me like 6 hours to DL Arma 2 and OA.
