Well, I just used the cash I had set aside for a "Coyote level" system I was planning on building. I had to buy some equipment for my business and used it as a down payment. $6K worth 
The only good thing is that I will make that and then some back on the purchase in a matter of a few weeks or so if the weather holds up.
After the 1st of the year, when/if things slow down a bit for me, I am may be gunning for Coyote's scores!

I don't know. I'm tired...and pretty depressed after signing a note today on top of the cash. I haven't had a note outside of temporary ones for spec houses in over 5 years. Always paid cash.
I already started drinking a little over it. If I get on I may be buzzed really good.

Yeah, debt is depressing. On the bright side, you are better off waiting until Haswell-E for the Coyote-level build anyway. By then, the 9000 series cards will be a more reasonable price, too.

I'm saving up for a pretty sweet build myself. Here's a rough guess at what I'll be getting:
- 4770k
- Itx mobo
- 16gb-32gb ram
- Two 120gb SSDs in raid 0 (I won't care if one drive dies and I lose my info)
- AMD 9970 (or 770/780 if the 99xx series is underwhelming)
- ITX case
- Custom fricking watercooling in that tiny arse case
This is going to be one serious little beast. I still don't know if any ITX case will work with custom cooling though (the prodigy will, but that case is ugly, big and a POS)
