I liked it better not stickied but it's fitting that the Master Race thread be above all others and even stickied just because it's better.
it is pretty funny.. but yeah, at first when I couldn't find it I was freaking out.
I guess TigerFred might have done the sticky?

Poncho, give me a price on that ram and HDD. Seriously.

Speaking of builds, I have been looking around some more at those cheap Cyberpower, IBuyPower, etc to see what they are offering and I think I found the best one yet.
An 8320 on a 760G board. Good luck OC'ing that CPU on that board. What's the point of having the 8320 if you can't OC it?
Then they were too cheap to put a SATA III 6.0 Gb/s HDD in and that's not to mention the $5 they saved on the 1333 ram.
BTW, that horribly configured build can be yours for the low-low price of $699!!!!

ETA: What did you want for that SSD?

I got the biggest mid-size Cooler Master case.. so the top compartment didn't come with a fan, I think I need the biggest one that can be put in a case though? will help with processor heat if nothing else since it'll sit on top of the cooling pipe fan
Your case manual will tell you how many fans it will hold and what sizes go in each location. The rule of thumb is intake on the front and sides and outflow on the upper back and top. Not everyone adheres to this but it's a proven formula for airflow.

I currently have outflow on back and side, and intake on front.. and nothing on top
I'm going to put a fan in on the top for outflow, and reverse the side fan for intake.
The case came with 2 fans - back and front, those were already setup for me.
ETA: What do I need to do with my side fan? It's really really hard to get it connected to the MB.. should I buy an plug-up extender so it's not unplugging every single time I take my side plate off, or should I plug it directly to my PSU?

I have an extension run from a central hookup on mine. Makes taking the door off easier.
Fan 1-----| |-----Fan 2
Fan 3-----|Plug |-----Fan 4
Fan 5-----|In |-----Fan 6
Fan 7-----| |-----Power from PSU
ETA: This looked much better when I typed it out but you get the idea I shortened all my wires coming FROM the fans to be JUST long enough to hide the connection. Then there is an extension running every fan to the central fan plugin.

Most cases seem to come with a minimal number of fans. They'll work but a few more is better. Next thing for you to get into is positive vs negative airflow. I'm a fan of positive airflow (more inflow than outflow) but at a rate of 55-60% inflow. The benefit of positive airflow is that it is supposed to reduce the dust buildup in the chassis.

but they can up-sell 1600 ram!
ive looked into this extensively. i really dont know if there is a decent answer to it, but im gonna try to do it right.
