He is trying to sell his 670?

eBay.. Every time I sell on ebay I get about 90% I retail or purchased cost.

I do eBay all the time too, but I always go craigslist or reddit first since you don't have to pay the fees that eBay charges.

Nvidia now stepping it up with free additions to their cards.

You get metro last light with any 660 or higher

if i just sell my vid card probably a 2GB 7950 or wait for the 7870 MYST to come back in stock.

if he buys the whole set up ill see what microcenter bundles that week and probably just buy the best value whether its AMD or Intel

I know 2 vs 4gb is a big difference but what about 3 vs4 or even 2vs3?

I think 3 is perfect. The problem with nvidias 4gb model is that they are limited by the memory bandwidth being at 256 (somewhere in there) while the 7950/7970 has 382 (around there)

MYST is what im thinking about really, it was at $235 or so after rebates and i just game in 1080p.

anything above that would just be massive overkill

I agree, if your at 1080 myst is the way to go. I still regret not finding that out until right after I got my 7870 ghz. I know it's not a big difference but still bothers me.

MSI Twin Frozen III HD 7950 3GB

IMO best bang for your buck w/ 2 games.

It really has nothing to do with 7950s performance but my affinity for MSI products.

EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card Free Metro Last Light w/ purchase, limited offer

$189 after rebate card

between unloading my 550ti and the free last light purchase,
this seems like a fairly cheap upgrade
need to determine performance improvements though.

MSI one is around that price range too.

Not a bad price TBH with Metro.

ETA:

If you aren't putting a block on the MSI card.. the cooler is better so more OC room without Throttling from Turbo Boost 1.0.

Plus the coolers look awesome and much quieter.

ETA:

Ah non TFIII cooler.. idk, would stick with the EVGA blower style then.
