In the article, you see what Peterson said about pricing. They are going to keep it as high as people are willing to pay. I bet he chuckled when the reporter asked about the $200 price of the G-sync module. You and I both know that damn module probably costs $1.50 from China. That $200 module is just pure profit for nvidia. They can lower that buy in price any time they get ready to and will if they feel threatened by Freesync.

Exactly, and they're right. G-sync is so good that none of us have any real concept of its value. I suspect the ROG swift stock would've been just as elusive had it released at $999. But we know NVidia's pricing model has a lot of built-in overhead and costs that are essentially equivalent to royalties, and that pricing model only works when you're the only gig in town. I think they are already threatened by adaptive sync, which is why they're quick to point out the limitations, both actual and potential. It positions g-sync as the technically superior option, but the reality of it is that g-sync's superiority is not worth an extra $200. It won't be long before consumers see that, because freesync monitors are coming in droves at more accessible prices.

I'll pay whatever nVidia wants me to pay.

They tell me what to and I obey; without question.

I'm starting to feel as if the N6 is a little too large for everyday use.

Texting and browsing is not an issue, but practicality is blown. The phone is fine when in use, the problem is holding and carrying the device in a pocket. The damn thing is too large for resting in a palm as you are forced to walked around open handed. Then comes the pants pocket issue, the phone is again too large yo fit safely and comfortly in my pockets.

I have been switching Sims between my Moto X and N6 because of this.

Feel the same?

I do miss the one-handed grip of smaller phones. I think The N6 needs to be a little narrower. Based on my limited experience, one-handing the Note 4 seems easier (even without the one-handed mode setting). I'm bigger than you and wear bigger pants, therefore bigger pockets, so it's fine in my pocket, but I can imagine it's noticeably more cumbersome depending on the size and type of pants you wear.

Since I work from home, I don't really have a gauge on the practicality of day-to-day use being out and about.

Have a question about running SLI. I currently have an ASUS GTX 660Ti and was looking at adding a second one since I've seen them on ebay for reasonable prices and perhaps for more e-peen. The GPU in question requires two 6pin PCIE power connections and therefore takes both 8 pin PCIE slots available on my power supply (650 W OCZ ZT).

For lack of a better way of saying it, is there a "one-8pin to two-6pin PCIE cable" so I can run SLI. Or is my only option to upgrade PSU? If thats the case I would just hold off until I'm ready for a serious upgrade. Thanks!

If you have the older cards, it's a lot easier. I've taught a few of my friends to play with my current decks.

Sure: LINK

That one has 8-pin (6+2) but obviously I'd only recommend using them as 6-pins, since you're splitting 150W.

That's best since it'll remain current for another year or so. My decks main attacker is yveltal ex (probably tied for best attacker in the format), which is in xy base

WTF would cause Skyrim to drop frames from one night to the next? I'm getting mid 20s tonight when I was getting 60 last night. I didn't add anything.

Edit: and coyote, if you ever get into pokemon TCG online, add me so I can give you a few decent cards for decks. My username on there is bluebarracuda
