I just need to move the system reserved but all of the guides I have found online so far do not work worth a damn.

I can not get this router to work. No matter how many times I reset to factory settings, it won't reset.

It should be reset already. What's the issue? Default SSID should be Cisco and some numbers, with no required password.
And are you pressing the right reset button? It requires a paperclip or similar.

Can't get into that Web based settings page. I keep trying that default ip and it won't work.
Eta: yes used a pin and held for 10 second like it said. Then I tried 30 seconds. I can't get the ip to reset.

Upgraded to the newest Win10Tech Preview last night, Cortana is badass. Ask her to play some iTunes music, bam. Launch steam, bam.
The new icons are meh. The live tiles in the new start menu are handy. They made the task bar similar to Android Lollipop, it changes color dynamically with the background which me likes.
Can't wait for 10, seems like it's going to be great.

oh, going to 192.168.1.1 should give you the warning that the smart wifi software is better, and blah blah blah, but should let you bypass that and manage it manually.
You may need to download the smart wifi software then: LINK

Damnit I'm an idiot. I figured it out.
So would you use the software?

I never did. No reason to for me. Set my SSIDs for my two bands and left it at that.

Got it working. Did the speed test in my room. The 2.4 is up and down like before but is improved some. The 5 ghz is much more steady and doesn't seem to be botherd by interference. The irony, the PS vita doesn't detect 5ghz...

Got it all fixed after reinstalling Windows.
I also took the time to remove the fans that came with the H80 and replaced them with the quite Corsair fans. It sounded like a jet taking off before and now its whisper quiet.

No overclock on anything.
Guess that ain't too bad for an HTPC.
Might sell the 290 and get a 980.

Hey guys -- I'm in the process of building my first gaming rig. This is probably a dumb question, but I appreciate y'all's insight.
I just finished buying all of these parts:

But then it occurred to me that the motherboard I selected might not have enough PCIe slots to support the 2 video cards, sound card, and wifi card that I ordered.
Are all of these parts compatible or do I need to switch out for a different motherboard?
I appreciate the help!

You don't need a sound card

These are useless

He might need the wifi though. Of course he could use a USB wifi adapter if he needed the room but he doesn't. Just drop that sound card.

No point in wasting PCI-E bandwidth and adding heat to the cramped space that there will be. With a two card setup, a USB card will be much better

No, you're fine here. However, you'll need to use the bottom x16 (PCIe 2.0) slot for one of your peripheral cards (sound or wifi), because the middle x1 slot will not be viable due to the two video cards that will sit on either side of it (they're dual slot cards anyway).
The two video cards will use all 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes and the sound and wifi cards will use 1 PCIe 2.0 lane each.
The great thing about PCPartPicker is that, at the very least, it would've warned you if you had more expansion cards than your motherboard supported. It probably wouldn't be sophisticated enough to warn you that the middle PCIe x1 slot can't be used between those two, though.
Solid build, a correct balance of parts for the overall budget. Some of the more seasoned audiophiles here may suggest you nix the soundcard and the headset in favor of a nice pair of headphones and an amp/dac stack, and you'll probably get a damn good setup for even cheaper than your headset/sound card combo you have here. I have a $400 setup (Q701s and modi/magni stack) that I find to be the most amazing thing I've ever listened to. I don't know enough about audio chips to tell you what's better, but I've noticed more and more experts frowning upon the sound card industry these days.

Thanks for the input everyone -- you guys are a fantastic resource.
I'll opt for a usb WiFi adapter. Not sure yet on the sound card. You guys are probably right, but I'd like to research it a bit more.
Thanks!
