I think so, too, but there's a long way to go and don't want to get too confident like I did with McKnight and Collins, lol...

you probably should not follow recruiting if you think that is something to worry about

H-Town...if you read my OP, all I asked was for input on what other RB's will top the list IF, LF would not sign with LSU. I would Love to see him in P&G and he may very well sign. It's just an observation and an inquiry. We recruited ZERO RB's this year with the feeling this kid would ink with LSU. I think the concern is legit.

As far as the Texas visit, all I did was post an frickin' link to an article that happend to have the kid wearing a jersey from the school he just visited. Thought it was of interest. But it appears that there are people in the know that say he's a 100% lock to LSU and there's no need to worry. So I guess we'll see.

Sorry, I didn't read you OP, however, posting the link with your comment implied it was something of concern to you. His Texas visit was reported on pay sites, twitter and on here, so most were aware. He is a top recruit he will take visits and getting jerseys/ T-Shirts etc is nothing out of the ordinary. I never like to refer to guys as a lock, however, most credible reports say it looks good for LSU.

To answer your OP, LSU is persuing other RB's, and will sign a couple at least in this class with or with out LF. If he doesn't sign, LSU will be an appealing option to some top RB.

What worries me about his visits is the St Aug coach having insight and taking notes on LF's pulse. Could the good coach have daily discussions with his idol tricky nicky?

LF told a fellow recruit that he didn't like Alabama mentioning a move to LB, fwiw.

Austin is a hell of a college city, and UT has tons of experience wooing top shelf talent. Of course he had a good time. Wouldn't make anything of it.

No you didn't. You threw out Joe McKnight in an effort to stir up the board. Then when you got the response you were after you decided to whine about it. Stop talking shite.

I understand what you are saying and agree, however the chicken little syndrome gets extremely tiresome as well and your chances of getting a legit answer go down significantly with comments like this:

quote:

Fournette has the feel of a Joe McKnight situation for me for some reason, like some other OOS school such as Florida State or Texas snags him.
