A lot of options for us here
Personally, I'd love to see him as a backup SF for us. I hope Demps can work out a great deal here whether or not that means we want him long term, or sign him to a deal that lets us use him as a trade piece. Either way, he still has a ton of potential even if he never develops his jump shot.
I just thought this was a good late night read (even if I'm a little drunk) and wanted to share

I like him as a chess piece. He is far from a complete player, but his defense and rebounding are valuable.

His ceiling is a role player
He'll never be complete in any category, but he does a lot of things well and would be a great player to have off the bench
But if you can find a team willing to trade for a player like that and we can work something out, that'd be great too. I just love the fact that he's figured out his role and has gone away from the jumpshots
But I really like the way Miller has come along this season at the 3 as well. Keeping both of them would be great if we can come up with a starting SF, but I'd be fine with either of them as a backup

Yeah, I hope we see more Miller for the rest of the year to get a better vide of his abilities.

One of the realistic SF upgrade options is bring in a D and 3 role player to split the position with someone and I think Miller is a real candidate for that. He's hit 42% of his 3s and shows good defensive potential. If he keeps playing like this I think the question is do you pair Miller with another D and 3 role player like Brewer, or someone with a different skill set like Aminu.

Glad you guys enjoyed it. He may have been the Hornets' best player tonight, as sad as that may be.

Great article. I like this part the best..
"As a result, the Hornets cannot offer Aminu more than $3.7 million for the 2013-14 season, the amount that he would have received under his player option for next season. It is not unreasonable to think that another team would consider paying him up to around $5 million per season, though it would be a big stretch for his current capabilities as a basketball player."
Hopefully someone throws a 5+ per year deal at him, so the Pelicans have no chance to match. Aminu is an awesome athlete, but just isn't a good player. He has no skills and no heart/desire (always has the same detached look on his face). I love the fact the author also pointed out Aminu is probably playing the wrong position and always has been. The team really doesn't need another PF..
