something else to consider is currently Louisville only has 5 home games set up for '14. So one of their away games to FIU or Marshall is going to have to either be canceled or moved.

MADISON, Wis. -- As early as next week, Big Ten presidents and chancellors will vote on and likely approve a nine-game league schedule starting in 2016, Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez told CBSSports.com.

Alvarez said he believes the nine-game vote will be a formality and wasn't sure of the exact date but thought it was next week, early May at the latest.

we just takin notes from Bama is all.

SMU at least goes to bowls as of late.

Lamar is a joke and I hope it gets dropped for an FBS team. Don't care who, anyone is better. Unfortunately I'm guessing we get stuck with them.

In '15 there a home and home with USC that is supposed to start. Same for '17 with Oregon. It's anybody's guess if those games actually happen.

That's a cute way of wording it. LSU is one team not afraid to actually beef up their OOC.. They deserve a few breaks.

If only they would apply that to basketball and baseball.

Trent Johnson is a frick and basketball is doing that now.

Baseball is tougher because you can't get big names to come to the Box. They got Cal State Fullerton two seasons ago. Who cares about that in baseball anyways.. LSU is 38-4, 15-3. It's not hurting them like Arkansas fans said it would comparing the two SOSs a few weeks ago.

You think? I hope so, especially when the committee openly says RPI/SOS and conference RPI is a big factor.

Need other teams to start scheduling some good OOC games, which is pretty easy to do in basketball.

LSU is in a tourney with Butler, Memphis, Oklahoma State, and Purdue next season. I'm not sure what their normal OOC games are but there's those to start.

Well yeah but you'll likely only play 2 of those teams or 1 depending on the format and who wins/loses.

Kind of like Arkansas in Maui, I'm sure we'll at least play Gonzaga or Syracuse or Baylor but probably play host Chaminade too.

I wish they announced basketball OOC deals like they do football, instead it's usually July or so before they release an OOC schedule.

I'm not saying that one way or the other, but they're going to hopefully have more than 1 or 2 legit teams on their schedule in a tourny.

Like I said, an actual deal with a nice program or two for a home and home.

Seems like you need a solid 4-5 pretty solid teams with 1 or 2 high end teams, win a few of those, and go at least a few games over .500 in conference to get on the bubble in the SEC and potentially get in.
