Wide Receivers on the roster

How do we address this position. Needs upgrade. I know we need defense, but damn. That's a weak group.

We haven't had a monster WR in years. Drew spreads the ball out too much for that. I do agree next year will probably be the draft we take a WR with a high pick, but I wouldn't discount Toon and Morgan. They seem to be this generations Colston and Henderson if they can develop.

I'm not suggesting we spend the first round pick on a WR, trust me. But we will be in a bind if either Colston or Moore get hurt, which seems to happen for small stretches of time every season. Knock on wood. Hopefully this is the year Morgan breaks out. Wasting so much time on Adrian Arrington still pisses me off.

But with our cap situation, I think it will have to be through undrafted free agents. Or possibly a late rounder we have an eye on.

Those are your 4 deep. Maybe Tanner in the slot to backup Moore.
I'm comfortable with that.
Some of those guys will never see the field because of Graham, Watson, and Sproles.

My source tells me the Saints are quietly negotiating a trade for Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitz. It's looking pretty good....so far.
With all the damn problems on defense, you want to address an alleged shortfall of WR talent? Really?

The guy who surprises other teams this year is going to be Toon..if he can stay healthy. He is a big guy with great hands and possession skills. Keep an eye on him for fantasy too.

I think people are really discounting Watson.
