I don't think it so much of being a LSU homer as it is that normally, talking so much about LSU players would be a stretch. This year, its not that much of a stretch. Mingo, Reid, and Mathieu all fill positions of need. Mingo could be there at 15 and Reid is pushing Vaccaro as the #1 safety in the draft. Matheiu in the 3rd wouldn't be a stretch either. These guys will be good pros in the NFL and are all viable options to help improve a horrible defense. I just don't want to see all of the disappointment threads if one of these guys are/aren't taken, if given the opportunity.

If this more recent one, then I don't see how a 3rd rounder affects the LT position.

What if we take Chris Faulk in the 3rd?

Yep, the rest of the mock drafts who all have taking Mingo must be homers as well.
I don't think it's homerish at all to think Mathieu would be a great 3rd round pick. Fox has been one of his biggest proponents and he apparently hates LSU.

Another talented LSU player that fills a need. Not a stretch.

I'd be alright with that, but I'd much rather address that in FA.

Punts, yes. Kicks offs he had less than half of the attempts than he did in 2011, and he still averaged 26.8 yards/return in 2012.

Hate is a strong word. What describes a burning desire to set a massive fire to their "school"

TM7 is a playmaker but there are better cover corners in the 3rd.............

I swear it seems like LSU fans didn't even watch this kid in college.

1. His coverage skills are very good

2. His skill set is so much more than man to man coverage.

I'd honestly like him as a rover/nickel hybrid of some sort. He's a playmaker, and Ryan could think of ways to utilize his skill set.

He's basically a joker in the defensive backfield

Just look at what he accomplished in ONE season. How could someone not want to risk a 3rd on that?

I would fap the skin off my dick if we drafted him. Honestly, I'd buy a jersey right away and he would instantly replace lance Moore as my favorite saint.

Fox wtf makes you think tm7 is destin for us..... It's a terrible idea

Just listening to tyrann talk about Ryan. What Ryan reportedly said to Mathieu, and knowing that while watchin tape on Claiborne for the cowboys, Ryan got a good look at TM7 and knows how to use him. Just look at the pic in the OP. TM7 looks really comfortable with the saints staff.

Doesn't mean cincy or another team won't grab him before us, but If he's on the board when we pick in the 3rd, I like his chances of wearing black and gold.

Has to be accounted for on every snap. I would like him in the 3rd. shite, they drafted Johnny Patrick and he got cut after 2 years.
