Going to Lake Bruin for my first time ever this weekend. Anybody wanna help me out?
Also, are there any good bar rooms in the area to hang out at?

The Hwy 4 bar is a fairly classy establishment.

Best party lake in LA. Maybe in the south when its kicking. There is a little bar on the lake called RnB's. Dont go to hwy 4 bar unless you can hide your cajun accent or you have someone from the area escorting you.

No I was kidding. DO NOT GO THERE! Fo real. That's if it is still open.

Never fished Bruin but if it's like St. Johns, for bass, I'd try pitching Jigs and Texas Rigs around the Cypress trees and crank baits on the brushpiles people put near there docks. If water temps are warm (60ish) may try senkos and spinnerbaits near shore.

If youre sacaperch fishing, they may still be spawning at the shallow end of the lake. If so, youll see about 8 boats sitting in open water, snagging fish. If you dont see this, just jig the edges of the thousand docks on the lake. Fish some shadows in the boat houses too

Its on the outside loop of the lake. Its just before the bridge and 90 degree turn if youre coming from 65. Camps would be on the right
