Lent ended this past Sunday.

After further exploration it looks like this is up for debate, I've always thought it ended on Palm Sunday because that is 40 days after Ash Wednesday. Anyway, I didn't give up beer, but rather soft drinks, had a Dr. Pepper yesterday.

No, the Sundays in Lent aren't counted.

Lent ends on Holy Thursday, but Good Friday still has the fast dealio. So, you can indulge in whatever you gave up for lent, but still treat Good Friday as a Friday in Lent.

So you're saying that I don't have to wait until Sunday and can indulge in beer during my morning round at Tamaka Saturday?!

Yup. In fact, once some deal is done to the oils in Thursday's mass, you're good.

Watch out for the cottonmouths on the right side of #7 and in front of the green.

Yeah, it's a terrible time to not have beer. Otoh, makes for a pretty substantial sacrifice. Bread and potatoes were pretty tough. Looking forward to a burger and/or poboy
