What did this to this bass?

There have been several bass around 3-4 lbs caught on our lease with the same type of wound. Anyone else think an Indian been on my lease?

You got a stinking bird that cannot judge its meal size well. Look for a tircolored heron, osprey, or an eagle.

Strong bet that you have either otter or mink in your area...they are awesome predators underwater.

I've seen eagles catch trout, reds, coots, ducks, rabbits, nutria, I think you get the point.

We got too many predators down there Coot, we get those too. I just never understood why they have markings on just one side.

just to recap...The OB has provided this very helpful info:

aliens, piranhas, beagle, squatch, bird, turtle, fishing string, stinking bird, tircolored heron, osprey, eagle, aids, blue herring, otter, mink, water turkey, coots, ducks, nutria and rabbit...

Solid performance OB, we almost have it narrowed down!
