Ken Trahan recently posted St Aug's 2013 football schedule, and it looks like they will play both Edna Karr (on 9-13-13) and John Curtis (on 10-4-13).

I can't find the link, but Karr is supposed to play Curtis as well.

Humor me, cuz while I am a dedicated recruitnik, outside of a couple recent State championships in the Superdome, I haven't actually sat in a HS stadium since the days when Kordell Stewart played at Ehret. But seeing the insane amount of next-level prospects at these 3 schools, at least, it's compelling me to finally check out the Friday Night Lights once again, like everyone here has been doing for years.

St Aug
RB Leonard Fournette 5-star (LSU & everyone else)
CB Jermaine Roberts 4-star (Bama, Tex, Tex aTm, LSU)
OL Peyton Winbush 3-star (LSU, S.Miss, Tulane)
DT Courtney Garnett 3-star (Okla, Ole Piss, Tex)
OL Joseph Paul 3-star (Florida commit)
DB Blaise Brown 3-star (La-Tech, Tulane)
LB Austin Craig 3-star
DB Brandon Williams 2-star
DT Marseth Andry 2-star
DE Peter Woullard 2-star
RB Lanard Fournette 2015
DE Tim Dawson 2015
OL Collin Williams 2015
DB Theron Williams 2015
WR Stanley Morgan 2015

Edna Karr
WR Speedy Noil 5-star (LSU & everyone else)
DE Gerald Willis 5-star (LSU & everyone else)
LB Donnie Alexander 3-star (LSU commit)
TE Anthony Jones 3-star (LSU, Louisville, Tulane)
DT Joyan Williams 3-star (Oklahoma St)
LB Quanta Moore 2-star (La Tech)
ATH Jaevon Walton 2-star
DE Isaiah Washington 2015

John Curtis
WR Malachi Dupre 4-star (LSU, FSU, Bama)
LB Kenny Young 4-star (LSU, Fla, Tenn, Baylor, Miami, Oregon, Okla St, etc)
DB Mattrell McGraw 3-star (25 offers, no LSU)
DB Terrence Alexander 3-star (18 offers, no LSU)
RB Raekwon James 3-star
RB George Moreira 3-star
DB Prine Lewis 3-star
DB Hunter Dale 2015
QB Abby Touzet 2015

I know it's a ways off, but I'm already planning on making all three games, even if I have to camp out. Who's with me?

I can't wait to see Fournette running all over my alma mater (Brother Martin).

I'm probably going to make the St Aug-Shaw matchup, too, since it's here on the westbank for me at Hoss Memtsas. Fournette might set a record!

It's almost like Nola is trying to be the Little Mecca of the south.

It's catching up in football. If only it could start bridging that gap in food. Are there any empty spots on Magazine for a Johnny's Pizza?

And thankfully, they all worship Frank Wilson.

That's your opinion but I can promise you this when Shaw and Brother Martian step on the football field Shaw would win 80% of the time

Curtis and Karr should play each other in the state finals if the select thing holds up. Personally, I think Curtis is going to whip up on Karr.

Mostly just a gifted class, but the talent level seems to be rising back up.
