I thought the same. I also thought that Periphery's sound guy killed their set. His vocals were way too low.

Did this concert seem like a big blur to anyone else?
I wasn't trashed or anything (just sipped on something while waiting in line, then had a couple hits right before the Deftones came on) but maybe that's what happens when you're focusing on keeping balance and not getting thrown in to the pit more than anything lol.

When I saw them at HOB in 07 they played a good bit from Saturday Night Wrist. "Beware" live was amazing.
They were in rare form last night. Definitely hitting on all cylinders.

thats what happened to me when i saw Thrice on their farewell tour. ruined the concert for me. got in a fight with this fat piece of shite that busted my lip open. i punched him in his throat and he was done. security came and pulled him out. he was one of those that takes the pushing way too far and he weighed so much that he was knocking people on the ground.

Riviere is from Saturday Night Wrist.
Last tour they were playing Minerva, Hexagram and When Boys Telephone Girls from the self-titled. I guess they need to keep it changing as they tour alot.

he's talking about that guy that was a bit in front of us that kept leaving and coming back. red and black button down and would give everyone high fives and shite. i think. he aggravated me and my buddy so im assuming that's who he's talking about

Yea, that was a sweet opening. I didn't think his vocals were too low, the opening act vocals were definitely too low though. Probably tough to get the acoustics right in such a small venue.
ETA: I was on the balcony, so maybe the sound was better for me.
