You'll have an unbelieveable retirement once you make it to 60. Step dad has about 2M i his pension.

From what I understand as long as I stay with class 1's I maintain all the years I've accumulated. Correct?

If I work for UP for 20 years then decide to work for KCS for 10 years(as long as they're still class 1) I can still retire at 60 ?

Yes, same thing if u change departments or crafts. Say u work track maintanice for five years then transfer into transportation. Its all the same.
