The first act was freaking SOLID. The next girl was okay, the guy after that was pretty good (Blake, Usher & Shakira, respectively). The next gal was basically just screaming into the mic.

DAYUM! That Judith chick just SMOKED that song! I hope Xtina's at home watching and it pissed her off that she wasn't on the show to pick her (or try to pick that performance apart).

reading this thread it seems there was quite a few stars tonight. how were the new judges? I hope to watch it in the next few days but I may not have the time

Pretty good show tonight. Like usher as judge, seems really down to earth. And shakira is just f'n hot. 
She doesn't have to talk or do anything but sit there in all her glory.
And the double mint twins are very easy on the eyes as well. Hopefully they will stick around til the end.

Only caught the first hour last night but not having Christina is already a huge plus. And CLo not rambling on for 10 minutes lets things move a little more quickly it seems
