It's cold and rainy here today so I decided to just stay home. I'll be on the road some the next two weeks and want to spend some time with the kids. Besides, the bird won't be gobbling up here yet.

The low here around choudrant was the high yesterday in TN but the rain is holdin off to a mist. And besides when pawpaw wants to go I ain't got much say in it

Well this was a disappointing morning, didn't see or hear squat, got rained on, forgot the thermacell cartridges, had to waste a shirt to shite in the woods.
Hope everyone did better than I, definitely can get much worse

We didn't hear anything on the roost. Didn't hear the first gobble till 9:00 am.
I called 2 strutters to 75 yards for my brother, but had a loud arse truck come by and spook them before they could come into range.
Set up on another bird about 10:30 but hung up at 75 yards again in a creek bottom. Would not come up the hill.
Frustrating morning.
