So from what I can tell after just 2 days in March Madness, people are starting to not want some players.

So far, we dont want Otto, Smart, McElmore, and Shabazz. 4 lottery players who look pedestrian to some people.

Who do we want then?

I think this is great because it muddies the water and makes it more likely a guy Demps wants falls to him. This draft never had any sure fire stars, they were always 2nd and 3rd bananas, so it's not surprising that they can't carry their teams. The top 10 players are not going to change that much because of the Tournament.

Just look at the threads that have been starting.

No joke, would love to take this guy in the 2nd. High energy guy that is an elite perimeter defender and a decent scorer. 6'4 200 lbs and a great athlete that is tough as nails.

Why dont people want smart and porter, they didnt even play that bad, their team just lost.

Smart vs Oregon ducks: 14pts 9rbs 4ast 5st

Porter vs FGCU: 13pts 11rbs 3ast 1st 1blk

Not their best games, but still decent

Yea I saw those after this thread. I love how people are changing their minds after watching one of his games. The guy would be a solid player for us. Will he be an all star? Probably not. But chances are most of the people in this draft wont be all stars.

Their teams got drummed by severely inferior opponents.

Anyway, the tournament will elevate a players stock (see MKG, Dion Waiters). Rarely does it ever hurt it.
