Probably helped that the Head Coach used to be in BR running a strength and conditioning facility (Gayle Hatch used to be there as well) so surely he was familiar with JJ.

Well, its not real football. The team doesnt appear to be well run. They cut the entire team before the pre-game meal of 1st game. Looks like anyone could have won the starting job.
