A couple of notes: He actually plays in New Orleans against a couple of former LSU players (Delvin Breaux and Marlon Favorite) on April 19th.
Also the OC for the Power is Mike Tomczak who was pretty good in the NFL for a lot of seasons after going undrafted.
With Swann and Tomczak associated with the program it probably would have been worth it for him to play for a $1 a week.
