and i have no idea who will be there at 15 or what we will need (if we sign Butler, Nmadi, etc). But, i know i dont want Mingo. I'd take Jarvis Jones running a 5.0 with a broken neck 8 days a week over Mingo.

You are a moron (who pretends he has ever lived in the 504 area code just fyi). Ware is a proven player. His college stats are not comparable to Mingo's, which are garbage. You try to explain this away by pretending Mingo really only played in 15 games and that he was facing tough sec opponents each week. I point out that a decent chunk of his horrid sack total came from playing against scrubs (its sad when a decent chunk of your career sack total is 2, isn't it?) and you think this proves your point? This coming from the same guy who started a "Dear LSU rant, give me the scouting report on this Mingo guy since I am the saints board's appointed pretend scout" thread just a couple months ago. I watch Mingo play, you watch Gilmore Girls and then try to be an online scout.

He had three tackles for a loss and two sacks along with one QB hurry against Arkansas in 2011.

Had two sacks with four total tackles and a QB hurry against Auburn in 2011.

So I'll see your 2 sacks against Towson and WKU and raise you 4 sacks against Arkansas and Auburn.

2 is a small amount, it's like less than 20% but if you took that 20% production and multiplied it out over that many more games to make up a whole season, you'd end up with a lot more than 12.5 sacks in 2 years. But that requires math and you're a fricking idiot.

he was UNBLOCKED on both sacks. One play nobody even attempted to block him and the other the LG is assigned to pull and block the Left Defensive End.

Watch all of the highlights from all those games. He gets washed out on all running plays and only makes plays when he is entirely unblocked on passing plays and can just run in a straight line to the QB.

He is the king of just stopping to play pitter patter with slow average college OTs. He made DJ Fluker, who was exposed badly by speed rushers throughout his career, look like Anthony Munoz in the 3 biggest games of Mingo's career.

why would you need to start a thread to ask if an LSU player is good? And how did you come to the hard fast conclusion that he is great in the 2 months since? Do you not watch college football?
