So Sunday was a family members birthday and the venue of choice was Deanos. I lived in Lafayette 5 years ago and I remember eating at Deanos and liking it. This time I was unimpressed. I ordered the very veggie pizza and its still in my fridge... I've tried 3 times to like the pizza but can't, heck I tried again for lunch today. If I ever go again ill get a salad , as they didn't look half bad... What do you guys think?

Getting a veggie pizza is your fault. You know bellpeppers are going to screw it up with all the water they put off.

Deano's has some very good pizza's. Poseidon and Cajun Exectuioner are the only ones I can think of off hand though. It's been a while.

Haven't had Deano's since they were open in BR. The Cajun Executioner was the only thing I got, and I've been there a ton of times.

Its been a while since I ate at the lafayette store, it was OK. The sandwiches at the old grocery store by USL was better food.

Surprised to hear its that location. I will say that pizza is like light beer. Everyone has their favorite, and everyone just doesn't get the love for the other kind.

I love deanos, and dislike pizza village. Some people call me cray.

That's not cray bro, that's insane. On a side note, the Thread starting guy said he should've tried the salad. Don't. It's Iceberg lettuce and mealy tomatoes that no dressing On earth could make taste any better. I do like the pizza at Deano's though.

Ah, the great pizza debate. My opinion:

Deano's>>>>>Little Village
Old locations>>>>>>New locations

Neither can mess with cici's though.

I do like JJ's in Broussard a lot.

Johnny's>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Deano's and Pizza Village.

And the school in Monroe is THE University of Louisiana, period.

Just fricking with the Lafayette people ... But Monroe wants you to know you can HAVE the University of Louisiana name, they are taking ULM (University of Louisiana at Mecca).

I actually tried out Johnny's to see what all the fuss was about from the Johnny freaks on this board. There is one in St. Martinville and I went there thinking it would suck. It was pretty darn good.
