Anyone have experiences with some good RV Parks in and around the BR area ? Preferably ones that have hookups, are safe, and can have pets. Thanks

KOA in Denham Springs. Hookups, pet friendly, put put, pool, nice area, and located in God's country.

There is one in Lakeland. Nice place, but I don't think they have a pool. The bayou behine it leads to False River. Idle zone for about 2 miles out to the river.

Forgot, there is also one on the north end of False River. Not a place for kids due to having a bar there. No pool, but able to dock a boat right at the waters edge.

Cajun Palms is nice if you want a resort atmosphere. Swim up bar and huge arse pool area with slides for the kids. It is a party place though be prepared to bring lots of booze money. They use wrist bands to charge your drinks to your spot which is nice. It is off of I10 in Breaux Bridge about 20 miles east of Lafayette.

An RV park with a foam party? Ahhh the great outdoors. I can't believe I clicked that link and saw what I saw.

Foam parties and bingo pavilions. Is this the norm for RV parks? Wold you consider this a true outdoor experience?

Other pics are java, so I can't post. Check out the wedding photos.

We stay only at state parks in Louisiana/Mississippi.
Unfortunately, the closest one to BR is Tickfaw in Hammond 45 min away.
