So I decided to try and perfect my smoked wings on my night off... Went to WF and got 4 and change lbs of the buffalo style (trimmed) chicken wings.

The main thing i thought needed tweaking was my dry rub so I mixed poultry seasoning, butt rub, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, braggs 24 herb and spice blend, oregano, and shwarma spice

Fired up my ghetto rigged smoker

Mix of apple and hickory

Loaded in the smoker @225 for ~ 1hr or so

Results later...

I want to see the "enhanced indoor environment" those wings came from.

Yep. My white, freshly washed car turned yellow overnight.

The next time I do mine on the smoker I may have to try a thicker rub like you've done here. I generally marinate overnight in hot sauce and give them a few shakes of slap before putting them in.

You ever been to fox brothers? I swear they have the best smoked wings I've ever had. Literally phenomenal. I am a huge hater on there actual 'cue but the wings cannot be beat.
I've actually got an extra bottle of their wing sauce from Xmas if you want to setup and elaborate trade. Also got some hopslam

I'm putting some wings on the kamado tonight but will probably be lazy and not make my own wing sauce. I have some leftover BBQ sauce I made or ill use some franks.

How is Fox Bros with kids? I'd most likely go by myself with my 3 yr old twins.

Give them a light smoke, drop em in the fryer, then toss em in sauce.
