Of course def is priority, but I would love to have this guy in our offense. What a weapon he could be for Drew.

Depends what happens with the rest of FA.

I am, however, firmly in the crowd that says our WR unit is dangerously thin and wouldn't be completely against upgrading it in the first round.

Anyone thinking SP won't take BPA is kidding themselves

Turns out this first round is loaded with defensive talent

Where is the Patton kid from LA Tech projected to go?

I wouldn't mind him if available in a later round but I'd expect he'd be gone.

I agree with the notion that the WR position needs to be upgraded, badly.

I wouldn't mind this pick at all.

It's getting to the point in the NFL where no defense is really "great." Having one that is simply serviceable is enough to win in the NFL.

This for sure. All depends on who they view as BPA. I could definitely see them taking a wr.

But the Saints defense wasn't serviceable, which is why drafting a WR in the first round is stupid to even consider

I'm not sure this possibility is as far fetched as people believe; however, I still think we go defense. It all still depends on what other FA's we pick up.

Yes, let's draft another running back, please. The only way I see us picking up another RB in the draft is if someone bites on the Ivory 2nd round tender and he walks. But even then, they'll probably hit the UDFA market for another RB.

Is a rookie picked at 15 going to make THAT much of a difference on an historically bad defense?

We've picked a slew of first rounders on D recently and have only gotten worse. That does not mean that picking one here is the wrong choice, or that we'll have the same result, but its not some slam dunk either.

You pick he best player. If that's a WR, so be it.
