You could build a hellacious shed for $5500. Another plus of building one is that you have an excuse to buy more tools
I have one of those Morgan buildings, and it started leaking after ~20yrs, and I had to redo a couple of pieces of the floor and Flex-seal the roof. Built a workbench in it a few years ago too. I think it is 10x20 maybe. Pretty solid building, and if I was getting one, I'd look that way pretty hard

Yeah I had a buddy who built a NICE shed on a slab for around 5k.

I really wish I had an actual shop with a concrete pad though. I keep the welding machine, jack, and a bunch of tools and spray cans inside my spare room. It is a PITA working on cars in the dirt. It's okay to keep a decent amount of stuff and have a decent work bench, but if I was gonna do it, I'd build something with a slab and more than one outlet
