Just wondering, when you first decided to create TD was your primary motivation to draw in users so that you could sell ad space and profit, or were you creating it just to create it?

He made it for him and his friends to discuss LSU sports. Then others found out and it exploded in 2007, I believe, and it became what it is now.

Well it certainly wasn't so they could talk to us fine folks. I wasn't around but I could see it being a project/hobby and it kicked off. Eventually it always becomes about the money. Chicken will sell out.

I thought it was kind of big earlier than that. I lurked starting in January 2004 (I used to love LSU. I was going to go there after I got out of the military.)

I remember this place going nuts after les miles landed Ryan perrilloux

it's just that some believe that nothing would ever be created without financial incentive, I was just wondering if in the case of TD it was your motivation.

Chicken is a trust fund baby, so he has no need to concern himself with such trivial things as money
