Love the drill where the receivers caught the ball around the goal posts. Teaching them to use their hands.

The WR drill around the goalpost was pretty cool.

Yup.

Hopefully with these new drill receivers can catch the damn ball.

hadn't seen that one before. Yesterday, he had the RBs and TEs catching the ball when diving from the knees.

Other thing I liked about the drill was they were moving at a quick pace

Yeah, combine that with the drill yesterday where they catch them between the dummies and we may not drop a ball next season

P.S. Diarse is huge

I liked that working on the hands practice. We needed that last year. Also the throws on the sidelines to the WRs. Looked like Cam has them focusing on getting 2 feet down.

Every time I watch him do a drill he impresses me. Doesn't matter the drill either. Lateral speed, working on the sled, hand movements. Everything about him impresses me.

So, we not only have a new Offensive Coordinator, but a new Wide Receiver coach. Why were all these new drills not already in place by the current WR coach? Kind of validates my opinion that he's just another of the great recruiter types that can't technicallly coach very well. That's obvious from watching drop after drop after drop last season.

even more than the goalpost drill, did you hear cam chewing a player out in the background. "No, get out. If you're not gonna catch it the way we want you to catch it just stay out the drill." <--- That is exactly the fricking attitude this offense needs. it's the opposite of miles, the quintessential player's coach. Hopefully we can get the best of both worlds with this hire.

ETA: and what did he say right after that? it was hard to hear but i think it was something like "you fricked up my whole day"
