He agreed to 8 million with the Broncos, before they screwed it up on a technicality. He will cost way more then we can pay. Someone will pay him a good bit. Would love to have him, but he is out of our range.

for those anxious they you can take the PFT comment on this-
The Saints are indeed looking for a pass rusher. Browns linebacker Paul Kruger told Pro Football Talk this week that the Saints were one of the teams chasing him.
With plenty of pass rushers on the market, it’s only a matter of time before the Saints sign one of them. Or more.
It has been a surprising buyers market for pass rushers. Wanting to hear a visit by Butler and Shaun Phillips on the agenda.

Figured it would be the case. For one, he's gonna command a lot of money, more than the saints could probably afford
and another thing, for as great a pass rusher as he is (and he is a phenomenal pass rusher) he is a very weak run defender. we need rushers bad enough to bring him in anyway, but still.
